Last April it was announced that the Lion King broadway show would be coming to the Capital Theatre in Salt Lake. My mom was so excited and really wanted to take our entire family to see it. She went up to the theatre on the morning that the tickets went on sale and stood in line to get her 18 tickets. The kids and Grandpa were a little nervous about going to a play. They didn't think they would like it.
And now, 5 months later, after we went to the play they discovered-They were wrong!(well Grandpa is not sure if he liked it, he didn't know what was going on) But the kids LOVED it. They sat on the edge of their seats the whole time, totally absorbed by the experience. It was amazing. My favorite part was the opening act when all the animals (including the giant elephant) came down the aisles. It almost brought me to tears. I really enjoyed it. Thanks mom!
Waiting outside the theatre for the doors to open. T is very excited.
Oh, the excitement-waiting for it to start.
SO MUCH SOCCER
With three boys playing soccer this month, it seems that soccer is all we have done. Nearly every night we've either had a game or a practice. Some nights we've had both. Even though it has been very busy, it has been fun to watch them all play and have fun with their teams. This was S's first experience being on a team and he just had a great time. He even scored a few goals. T's team did really great. They won every game, except for one tie. He was so excited to get a trophy and be in the newspaper. Z's team is doing really well. They have won more games than they've lost and they are working hard to finish the season strong. He has learned so much and has become a much better player. He's scored a few goals, too.
Go Cobra's!
